Siemens Induction Hob – Technology at your fingertips

Introducing the Siemens Induction Hob

We have decided to demonstrate one of the appliances we have on offer at German Kitchen Studio because every time we demonstrate this to our customers they GASP!

I suppose we take the amazing induction technology for granted as we are surrounded by it everyday but to you, the public, it is rather impressive how efficiently the Siemens Induction Hob can boil up water and then remove the heat from the hob without burning even a paper towel!

Hardly any of the heat is lost to the hob plate meaning the job of heating something on top is a much more efficient process.

We don’t need to tell you about the safety benefits of a hob that retains no heat, nor that you are able use your electricity more sparingly, but one of the practical benefits is – when your done cooking your bolognaise and you’ve split a bit over the edge, it doesn’t get baked on to the surface, meaning cleaning your hob with scourers and Mr Muscle are a thing of the past !

Give this 2 minute video a chance and we promise you will GASP like the rest of our happy customers !

Simply The Best Kitchens

Not Our Words, Our Customers !

It’s always nice to get a bit of appreciation back from your customers. We put everything we can in to giving you the kitchen of your dreams. Just to see your beautiful new kitchen in place is enough satisfaction for us but when we get a lovely card like this it is just the icing on the cake.

Simply the Best

The Card Reads …

John Thomson of German Kitchen Studio fame, with his team worked miracles using his design and German build quality to bring a tired and unworkable space into the twentieth century. Providing light and much more storage when it was hard for the owners to see how it could be done.

Thanks must be given for the work of Andrew the Joiner. Colin the Electrician, who is a stickler for doing things properly. And to Marty for being able to repair and recover the walls. The owners say that at last they can start to cook in their beautiful new kitchen and would highly recommend the German Kitchen Studio for their efforts.

Cologne Kitchen Show

Design Lead Kitchens

…at a price you can afford

The Cologne Kitchen Show demonstrated perfectly the innovation that Schuller encourages. We aren’t suggesting you have piles of palettes in your kitchen but I’m sure you can see that the possibilities are endless with a Schuller kitchen from German Kitchen Studio.

Cologne Kitchen Show

Increased Design – Decreased Cost

The most impressive point from the show for us suppliers was the reassurance from Schuller that maximising fitted kitchen design and minimising the cost remains their primary objective. It’s open communication with both our brands and our customers that sets us apart from the competition. Come and see our stunning kitchen showroom in Kirkcaldy, Fife for yourself and you’ll see that they are true to their word…

Free Kids’ German Kitchen

We had a thought

Kitchens are loved by adults and children alike.

schuller kids kitchenYou must all be able to remember the fun you had as a kid playing with the little version of your mothers kitchen?

To give the children of Kirkcaldy the same joy we had, German Kitchen Studio are going to give away a little German kitchen with every ‘big’ German kitchen we sell throughout February and March.

Granted the kids kitchen doesn’t have quite the same level of build quality or features, but still they’ll enjoy it just as much as you’ll enjoy your new kitchen from German Kitchen Studio.

It the small things in life that let you enjoy the big things a little more!

Practicality vs. Aesthetics
Gone are the days when you had to choose between something that looked good and something that worked well. Thanks to the technological advances in production and precision engineering, fortunately, we no longer require to choose.
We literally can have it all.

Germany are the leaders in precision engineering innovation and advanced production methods which can be witnessed in their exhibition kitchens at German Kitchen Studio. Thanks to precision engineering and computer aided design, we are now able to maximise the usable space within our kitchens and ensure there is no ‘dead space’. When we say dead space – can you remember in years gone by when your kitchen used to house a thousand spiders in those hard to reach spaces formed by under bench corner units where only carrier bags could live? Yes! Well now through ingenious design, the corner unit has taken the form of one of the most practical features in your kitchen. Corner carousels which appear from the void and can virtually house all of your pots and pans then with the slightest of touches slide back into the space that would, in days gone by, be full of carrier bags. It is amazing that you can look at a product and be in awe of its beauty yet be so impressed by its practicality.

The same thing can be said about wall units. Normally supplied in a standard size and typically wasting so much space above them, wall units can now be designed and manufactured to offer ceiling level storage, again, maximising the usable space.

Precision is the key to getting the most out of a new kitchen. Having to mix and match from a limited range and fitting a kitchen with tolerance in mind are a thing of the past. With advanced laser measuring techniques and computerised engineering, you can have a brand new fitted kitchen which has been manufactured to your precise requirements. If your walls aren’t quite 90 degrees to each other in the corners your work surface would normally require adjustment, however, with new technology it will be laser cut to an exacting degree of accuracy and there will be no need for any plastic joining strips. The quality of a modern kitchen is not even comparable to kitchens of yesteryear.

So back to the original question – Practicality vs. Aesthetics? … There is no longer a decision to make – have both!

German Kitchen Studio in Kirkcaldy are a Premier supplier of German rigid carcass kitchens and a friendly team too. The showroom boasts a wide range of kitchen displays, demonstrating how far kitchens have advanced and the importance of the role they play in everyday life.   After all – the kitchen is the heart of your home!

Schuller Kitchens, what makes them different?
Schuller are a family owned company based in South Germany. The way they make kitchens differs vastly from most of their competitors.

The conventional way of building kitchens is to make 1000’s of standard units and sell them to a distributor. The distributor then sells them to kitchen retailers. This is fine but when the kitchen is made the manufacturer will have no idea how the unit will be used in the design. If anything needs to be tailored to fit it must be done on site by a kitchen fitter.

The Schuller way is to build every kitchen to the specific design supplied by us. Units can be made the way you want them so that fitting is straight-forward. Many more options exist that couldn’t be offered using the conventional business model described above. Options include multiple unit heights and sizes, variable plinth heights, variable worktop heights and more besides. The kitchen units are supplied fully constructed with doors and drawer fronts fitted so fitting tends to be quicker.

This is all made possible by a high tech factory in which many millions of Euros have been invested. Around 400 kitchens a day are built in the factory and loaded for delivery on the day of manufacture onto a fleet of trucks which cover the whole of Europe.

This benefits YOU because no distributor is involved (saving you money) and you get far more choice than you would with a ‘standard’ kitchen.

There are two ranges from Schuller:

The Schuller creative range is extensive and great value. Most doors can be supplied with or without handles.

The Schuller Next125 range is designed to compete with Poggenpohl and Siematic in terms of design features, style and quality but at a very competitive price.  It has dust seals on all cabinets, even more choice of unit heights, and options such as electronic door and drawer opening. The ‘Flush fit’ range has units available to completely hide your ovens when not in use, and there are other tall unit options with doors that slide sideways rather than out into the room.

There are also wall mounted kitchen cabinets available that have no plinth and ‘float’ above the floor creating an amazingly spacious effect.

There is also a coordinating range of superb quality kitchen tables and chairs and bars in the Next125 range to complete the designer look.

The ethos is ‘High End Design – Small price’.
